Get ready blank paper (in landscape) & STABILO point 88 fineliner in different colours.
Start from the centre
Draw a picture in the middle of the page to represent the title/subject of the mind map.
Draw main branches
Draw some curvy connected lines from the centre image (from thick to thin). All these branches represent the topics.
Fill branches with key words & images
Fill in the top of the branches with key words or images. Key words help us to recall better, while images capture the brain’s attention.
Draw smaller branches & add details
Draw other curvy connected lines from the tips of main branches. Add details on these smaller branches to represent the topic content.
Add more colours & images
Use more colours & images to improve the appearance of the mind map to make it better for memory & learning.
